The Fountain House, with the support of Jeremy Goldstein, who sits on the Board of Directors of the organization, are working tenaciously to ensure that people living with mental disability are liberated. Fountain House, an organization that was established in 1944, has been very focal in the war against discrimination of the mentally disabled individuals in New York and the United States in general. The organization was founded by a group of six individuals who had previously been victims of mental illness. They wanted to share their sentiments with the people who suffered from the same condition and prove to the world that the individuals are not of less value than any other person in the society.


Due to this, the group of six members purchased a building in New York that they intended to make the permanent home of the clubhouse. Coincidentally, the garden on which the building was located had a fountain, and that’s how the current name of the organization was created. They called it the Fountain House. Originally, the name of the group was quite symbolic. They had named it “we are not alone” a name that signified that the people struggling with the deadly condition were never o their own. They had other people in the community in their support.


Later in 2010, Jeremy Goldstein was appointed to sit on the board of Directors of the firm. With his support, Fountain House has managed to improve the lives of many individuals suffering from mental illness. Fountain has been educating this group that has been marginalized in the community in many ways. After equipping them with sufficient skills and knowledge, the foundation has also been taking the initiative to ensure that they get employment and get to a condition whereby they can live independently. This is because Fountain House and Jeremy Goldstein have understood that these people with mental disorders have been facing huge challenges in the job market where they are faced with stiff competition from the mentally healthy individuals.


Apart from being a board member at Fountain House, Jeremy Goldstein also owns and runs a big boutique law firm in New York. This firm deals with the high profile corporate managers and CEOs of organizations, which it guides in matters that pertain to corporate governance and the compensation of employees. Before the formation of the firm, Jeremy had been working in a reputable law organization in New York where he was a consultant.

Pall therefore counters the audience’s demands by working on things that excite them and pushing themselves a notch further. The dramatical additions have been incorporated in their song ‘Closer’ which features Drew love and a bigger performance element. Further the duo is putting on an entirely curated show, with short acts in addition to what they do.
